Summary As a valued member of the cross functional development team, you would become part of an influential group of passionate technology engineers who work together to build the best solutions in our industry. You would be developing new and mission-critical enterprise software systems using Microsoft .NET technologies (ASP.NET and C#). Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Expertise in developing data-driven web-based application solutions utilizing the latest ASP.NET and SQL Server database technologies
- Exhibit a solid understanding of software engineering fundamentals including the appropriate phases of the Software Development Life Cycle
- Design, implement, document, unit test, code review and deliver high-quality solutions in accordance with the given requirements
- Ability to solve problems creatively and efficiently
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated expertise in web application and component development using Visual Studio.NET (.NET Framework 3.5 and higher), C#, ASP.NET, Web Services, WCF, WF, XML, AJAX, HTML, XHTML, and JavaScript
- Good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or above
- Prior experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server
- Proficiency with n-tier architectures, dynamic content, security protocols, and scalability
- Strong OOD and OOP skills
- Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in requirements definition and analysis
- Ability to clearly document software at the systems and source code level
- Must be a self-starter, self-directed, and be able to work under supervision
- Effectively collaborate with others and work in a team environment is a must
- Demonstrate resourcefulness and develop constructive suggestions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in object oriented web software development. Emphasis in Microsoft .Net and SQL Server technologies needed
- Experience with Agile software development is a plus
